Death entered the
home of Mr. A. Sheetz, four miles north of town, yesterday morning and claimed
the wife and mother. Funeral services were held today at 11 o'clock
at the family residence and the remains were buried on the Withington farm.

Obituary
The people of Lyon county and particularly
of Agnes City township, were pained to learn of the death of Mrs. Caroline
Sheetz, wife of Mr. A. Sheetz whose residence is about four miles north of
this city. Mrs. Sheetz was born in Shenandoah county, Va., about 48
years ago. She was stick only a few weeks. Her death was not expected
until a few days before the sad termination. To her husband and family
their loss is irreparable. No better or more faithful wife, mother
or neighbor live in the county. She leaves four children, the eldest
the wife of Geo. E. Withington. Two daughters and one son are at home with
their afflicted father. She died as she lived in the full faith of
a better world.

The remains of Mrs. Caroline Sheetz, who died some nine years ago were removed
from the Withington farm by C.H. Sharp on Tuesday and placed by the side of
her husband and daughter in Allen cemetery.
