Porter.   Carrie Porter, daughter of W.H. Porter, was born May 7, 1881, and departed this life Feb. 17, 1895.  For some time Carrie had been a patient sufferer, not complaining but submitting, having faith in Him who said, “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not.”  The good Shepherd came and took her unto himself.
  The funeral services were held at the M.E. church conducted by the writer Monday.
