Obituary
Clifford Arthur Mallory, was born August
30, 1917, died March 2, 1918; age 6 months and 3 days. He was the only
child of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mallory, whose home is south west of Allen.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 3, in the M.E. Church,
conducted by the Pastor Rev. Philip Evans. The little body was laid
to rest in the Allen cemetery. The entire community is in full sympathy
with this young couple in their loss and sad bereavement. We weep with
them. The sermon was on the text; “But Jesus said Suffer little children,
and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matt. 19:14.
