Mrs. Dell Fuller Dead
Funeral Rites Last
Friday
The people of Allen and community were grieved to learn of the
death of Mrs. Dell Fuller, which occurred at her home north of town last
Wednesday afternoon, after a lingering illness
of several weeks, and in her passing our community loses one of its best
wives and mothers who will be greatly missed, not only from the home, but
our church, lodge and social circles will greatly miss her from the positions
she occupied while here.
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Allen M.E.
church, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Anderson, assisted by a select choir
and members of the lodges in which she had been active for years. The floral
offerings were both beautiful and numerous. The church was filled to
capacity with relatives and friends and at the close of the services her
body was taken to the Allen cemetery and tenderly laid to rest.
